Invisible Alignment That Works With You

We know that every smile is unique, but for some, crooked teeth or crowded teeth can affect your self-confidence and diminish your desire to smile in photos or around others. If this is the case, a clear aligner such as Invisalign can help to straighten your teeth and improve your bite over time. An added benefit is that Invisalign can be removed when you’re brushing your teeth and or eating for added comfort.

At Belman Dental Centre, we offer Invisalign to our patients who are looking for a more undetectable alternative to braces that can fit into a variety of lifestyles. Talk with our team at your next appointment if you would like to learn more about clear aligners and how they can be a great option for you.

Who Can Benefit From Invisalign?

Invisalign can be a great option for all ages and a variety of different smile types. There are a range of treatable cases that Invisalign can help to improve, and they can help to create small improvements on generally straight teeth to enhance the beauty of your smile even more. If you have concerns about the look of your teeth, our team would love to discuss Invisalign at your next exam.

How Does Invisalign Work?

There are so many reasons why Invisalign can be a great option for teeth alignment. Firstly, it has been found to be a fast and comfortable option, taking as little as 6 months to complete. Secondly, there are only 3 simple steps that you have to go through to complete the Invisalign process. With assistance from a doctor and dedication to wearing your aligner, you can benefit from a quick and removable way to adjust your smile.

1. Get a Customized Scan of Your Teeth

The first step of the Invisalign process is to visit us at our practice for a 3D scan of your teeth using the iTero Element scanner. This scanner allows us to get an accurate view of your teeth and come up with a personalized Invisalign treatment plan for you.

Once we have scanned your teeth and your custom aligners are ready, we will examine you to make sure the aligners fit perfectly and that everything looks good. You will continue to wear your aligner as instructed by your doctor and for the amount of time given based on your individual plan.

After you’ve completed your Invisalign treatment plan, it is important to maintain your results with the Vivera retainer. This retainer is helpful to avoid the shifting of your teeth after treatment. A doctor will consult with you on how long to wear your retainer after using Invisalign in order to get the best results possible.

iTero Scanner: Improving Accuracy with Digital Imaging

The iTero scanner is a digital imaging tool that takes a 3D image of your teeth and greatly helps doctors in the Invisalign treatment planning process. The scanner not only assists with faster and more accurate results but also with the predictability of change over time in a patient’s teeth.

This device is essential when giving our patients an Invisalign consult and can also help with other reconstructive transformations such as crowns, bridges, veneers, and dental implants.

Let’s Discuss an Invisalign Treatment Plan

When it comes to your smile concerns, we are committed to working with our patients and finding a successful solution or treatment plan. Our doctors are here to discuss the benefits of Invisalign during a scheduled appointment and want to help you achieve the smile you’ve always wanted.

Cosmetic Dentistry and Invisalign FAQs

How much does Invisalign cost compared to traditional braces in Toronto?

Invisalign treatment in Toronto typically costs between $3,000 and $5,000, which is very comparable to the price of traditional metal braces. The exact cost depends on the complexity of your alignment issues and how many aligner trays you will need.

Most patients start noticing visible improvements in their smile within the first 6 to 8 weeks of wearing Invisalign clear aligners. However, a complete treatment plan generally takes between 12 and 18 months. To keep your treatment on track, it is crucial that you wear your aligners for the recommended 20 to 22 hours per day.

A complete smile transformation is a customized treatment plan that combines multiple restorative and cosmetic procedures, such as dental implants, porcelain veneers, crowns, and teeth whitening, to completely rebuild the health, function, and appearance of your teeth.

Because Dr. Belman has advanced training from the Misch Implant Institute and The Pankey Institute, he can manage these complex, multi-step reconstructions entirely in-house, starting with a comprehensive 3D digital smile design.
